Die Europäische Digitale Agenda ist die erste Leitinitiativen der Europäischen Kommission zur Durchsetzung der Strategie Europa-2020 für Beschäftigung und Wachstum. Ziel ist die Verwirklichung des Digitalen Binnenmarktes in Europa zur Förderung eines nachhaltigen wirtschaftlichen und sozialen Nutzens. Die Video-Clips können Anregungen für die Diskussion zu Entwicklungen in der Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologie (IKT) in Europa z. B. im Bilingualen Unterricht oder im Fach Englisch geben.
